Photography is inspiring, persuasive, bold, focused,
innovative and yet at the same time excellently detailed.

I am Andrea van der Spuy and these are the reasons I love
being a photographer. I get energised with the idea of
inspiring others, persuading them with the beauty of a photo
and relaying a moment that tells a story.

My extensive experience in food, lifestyle and catalogue
photography has led me to believe that every shot can
be the hero shot. The innovation and creativity that
these diverse fields offer keep me inspired.
